How four governments did to ensure that students with disabilities studied in regular schools
Italy, Portugal and New Brunswick (Canada) managed to ensure that almost all of their students with disabilities studied in conventional schools. In Latin America, Brazil advanced along this line. According to the United Nations, this is a collective right, despite the fact that it is not respected in many countries. In Argentina, although by law schools must receive students with disabilities and provide them with the support they need, this often does not happen. Teacher training, public investment and a cultural change are some of the keys that the outstanding models share.
